Weaning and food prep

Swell Bottles - These are our go-to thermos bottles. They come in varying sizes and are great for keeping sterilised water (boiled then cooled) in for the day. For those formula mums, Carla would take a bottle with boiled water in as her Hot water, then a bottle of cooled water with her. She would use these to make up the bottles when out and about. It is important to note that the formula must be sanitised with hot water >70 Degrees.

Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Day & Night - Carla used this machine for her first baby. It works on approach of using a shot of hot water (>70 degrees) to sanitise the water and then tops up with filtered water. You do have to buy the filters separately. The machine definitely helps reduce the time for making up bottles from formula, as you avoid having to wait for the boiled water to cool. It is very simple to use and pretty portable, if you wanted to take it with you on a visit to family. There is a bit of maintenance, as you will have to clean every 2 days, but this doesn't take too long. Carla actually had two, one for upstairs for the night feeds and another downstairs. Buy Here

MAM Milk Formula Dispenser - These are great travel formula holders. You put one bottle's worth of formula in each segment. Pretty simple but always handy when out and about.

Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair - These are fantastic chairs, they are a little pricey but they are sturdy and will last through your child's toddler years. The idea being that you slowly remove the extras from newborns until it is a just a raised chair for your toddler to sit at the right height for the table. Carla has this is the mint green but they have a great array of colours. A wise investment for your child's ongoing needs. Buy Here

Stokke Tray, Storm Grey - The tray add on, Carla has this exact one. Very sturdy and easy to clean.

Tripp Trapp® Classic Cushion - Well worth investing in a set of cushions for the tripp trapp to make sure your baby is comfortable!

Stokke 5-Point Harness for the Tripp Trapp Chair - If yours are anything like ours then a harness is a good idea to keep them contained during dinner time!
